I like it! It had pretty good thought out game design. I like the visuals too, though the writing seemed a bit... Childish? I'm unsure about the target audience? Is this game for younger audiences or...?
For a demo, this is pretty good. There's a few bugs/suggestions for the future if you continue it:
Add a popup that says "[E] to pickup" or "[E] to continue dialogue", especially in the cutscene at the beginning.
There's a bug where you can't interact with things like apples because the tree is in the way.
If the grandchild is following you and he's between you and the enemies, you can't deal damage to the enemies.
Maybe add an inventory later for things like the quests, so you know how many carrots you have, for example?
