A downloadable game

Cut Out Hero! is a game where you play as a small paper boy, tasked with saving the Paper Village from its' dragon suppressor!

This is a demo of a longer game which I'm not sure whether to develop or not. 

If you like it a lot, please let me know, and Cut Out Hero will be a fully fledged game!

CONTROLS:

WASD - for movement

Clicking - for attacking

Left Shift - for rolling

E - Interaction 

Everything is done by me, music by SunoAI

I'm sure there's plenty of bugs, but unless it breaks the game completely you don't got to let me know. 😂😂

I like it! It had pretty good thought out game design. I like the visuals too, though the writing seemed a bit... Childish? I'm unsure about the target audience? Is this game for younger audiences or...?

For a demo, this is pretty good. There's a few bugs/suggestions for the future if you continue it:

  • Add a popup that says "[E] to pickup" or "[E] to continue dialogue", especially in the cutscene at the beginning.
  • There's a bug where you can't interact with things like apples because the tree is in the way.
  • If the grandchild is following you and he's between you and the enemies, you can't deal damage to the enemies.
  • Maybe add an inventory later for things like the quests, so you know how many carrots you have, for example?

Overall, not bad! I'd love to see more.
